Final Exam Christmas Decoration

Wow, I really was stressed about this. I had little time to make it, but I finished it. And I'm glad as well. Now you may be thinking "What websites did you use?", well, I didn't use any. I used prior knowledge [and knowledge acquired through messing around with Illustrator] to create this. The only things I didn't make, was the Wreath Santa is pushing to the top of the tree, and the quote [curtsey of, well, I don't exactly know, but I thank them]. I had fun making this, and I look forward to next semester for more GDI projects. [As said by Tiny Tim, God Bless us Everyone.] The tools I use are as follows-

Pen Tool: For most of the lines and such
All Pathfinder Tool: Really, I used all of them.
PNG-24: type of picture
Star Tool: To create triangles
Brush Tool: For Snow
Gradient Tool: For the Bulbs
Type Tools: for the Typography portion
Imagination: For Everything Else

Yeah. . . .not the BEST thing I've made, but it certainly trumps my previous work from last year. It was challenging to make this, I really had to think [cause I could not for the lift of me find the texture], but it really looks good. I even added the Name and Motto to it for extra affect. Again, not the best work I've ever done, I will try to do better always. As you can tell, it's a little [or a lottle] off in proportion, but I'm glad I finally found a good texture for it.

Gift Box

A festive box for the holidays. A bit annoying when the Gaussian blur didn't work well ,but I got around that.

Ornaments come in all ways, but I feel I captured at least some of the joy of the holiday.

pretty fun to make, because Graphic Design is serious business. Note, not EVERYTHING on it is true. For I do not live in Arizona.

Personal Expression revisited

I figured, since I have time, to remake my Personal Expression, and make it a bit better.

Mesh Art [now with Text]

It was a fun process to alter and distort all this, though I wish it hadn't caused Illustrator to lag so much. Other than that, I feel it expresses what is reality, what deceives us every day.

Logo Creation

It was very challengeing to create, and I think I may need to work on how it is done at a later time, but it was very fun and in treading.

Jack O' Lantern

It was an interesting process, took a lot of searching. It took me about five days to complete this, and let me say, it was one of the most difficult things I've had to do in GDI so far. I added a background not because I had to, in fact I wasn't instructed to, I just felt as though it was missing something.

Flower and Vase

this took ,uh, much longer than I expected. The link was broken for two days so I couldn't use the vase link. But, all in all, it was fun to make this. A very interesting experience.

Personal Expression

A true testament to what describes me. Challenging [as Illustrator would continuously freeze while saving], however very fun. To those of you who know what Bazinga is from, I congratulate you.

This was made using a circle and simple flipping of words and symbols. Like the wording?

This was a distortion affect added to my name to make it all CURVY and RAINBOWish, it was fun to do and to figure out how to do. I'm sure it will help me at later times. I guarantee it.

The rules were a little iffy, so I did not know what I was to do. I figured I had to copy the Las Vegas sign, so that's what I did. Sorta challenging, had trouble with the "welcome" part, but nothing that was impossible.

Aku, from Samurai Jack, I had some difficulties, but it was really fun to make this. I used K's as a base for his "Leg Fire", some L's for his arms and horns, some |'s [not I's] for some limbs. Other than that, he was mostly made of Parenthesis, O's, J's, and *'s. So, all in all, it was really fun to make this.
